Women in the Woods
A four-week autumn outdoor group to help replenish women that feel burnt out
Open to women, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals who align with this space
Do you give until you have nothing left?
As the natural world offers us her abundance in autumn, we are invited to open to receive.
We’ll gather in the woods to explore the theme of reciprocity: the rhythm of giving and receiving. So many of us women have been socialized to give until we have nothing left, leaving us feeling exhausted and burnt out; with no idea how to replenish ourselves.
Through Somatic Experiencing practices woven with nature connection, this group offers a supportive space to learn how to:
Listen to your body’s cues
Set compassionate boundaries
Harvest your own energy in meaningful ways
Together, we’ll explore practices of self-compassion, nervous system regulation, and learning how to say no, with the woods as our teacher. You will learn not only how to give with intention, but also how to receive and replenish your body.
What to Expect
Our four weeks together will include:
Safe Space Ritual: We start by intentionally co-creating the conditions needed in circle to support safe reflection and authentic sharing.
Wonder Walk: A guided somatic, sensory forest walk designed to help you drop out of your head an into your body
Nature Connection Practices: Intentional invitations to deepen your relationship with the woods and tune into the wisdom of the autumn season.
Sharing Circles: A supportive, non-judgmental space to speak your truth, listen, and be witnessed by other women navigating over-giving and boundaries.
Somatic Education: Practical tools and insights to help you listen to your body’s subtle language, recognize nervous system cues, and learn how to restore your own energy.
Intentional Ritual: Simple, meaningful rituals to help you integrate what you learn and practice self-compassion.
Meet your Facilitator
Angela weaves together her experience as a Registered Psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with her training in Ceremony for Rites of Passage. She creatively crafts an intentional journey arc that prioritizes nervous system awareness, holding space for your body so you can move safely into inner reflection and sacred ritual, that results in a deeper relationship with your body, nature and community.
Angela brings playfulness, authenticity, and openness to both life and facilitation. Grounded in the values of agency and choice, she creates a warm space for you to tune into your body’s subtle language and let your internal wisdom guide your journey.
"Angela, with her beautiful, warm energy, creates a space that feels like a call to ritual. A space that holds and guides you on a journey back to yourself. The experience has stayed with me and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her." Past Retreatant
“I had a beautiful afternoon at Angela’s retreat in the forest. Angela created a warm, welcoming, and sacred space where I felt comfortable being present, listening and sharing. I would wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a meaningful experience of reflection, connection and renewal.” Past Retreatant
