Women in the Woods: Spring Nourishment Day Retreat

$0.00

As the sun warms and ignites the earth's thaw, we too begin to wake from winter’s slumber. Emerging back outside, it’s normal to feel disconnected from our own bodies and the earth that was hidden beneath the snow.

Just as spring is the time for seeds to receive nourishment so they can reach their full bloom, we also need to intentionally set aside time to be nourished.

The Spring Nourishment Day Retreat is an invitation to mindfully return to your body and the forest. Within a safe and playful community, we will re-ignite your energy and practice receiving nourishment to support your journey toward your own full bloom.

The day will journey through intentional somatic and nature connection activities including:

  • Wonder Walk: A guided somatic sensory forest walk designed to get you out of your head and safely into your body as you connect with earth's wonders around us.

  • Solo Nature Connection: Open to the nourishment of the forest through space to simply be. Wander the forest, sit with a tree or plant, or bask in the sun. Find your unique way to receive nourishment.

  • Reflective Writing: Special guest, Vera Dyck, will guide you through the AWA (Amherst Writers & Artists) method. This approach creates a safe, non-judgmental container that supports  those with no writing experience to find their voice and play with the craft of writing.

  • Fire Circle Sharing: We will gather around the fire to witness one another in our bloom after a day of nourishment. This is a space to share our experiences and wisdom gained as we are held in community.

About Me
Angela weaves together her experience as a Registered Psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with her training in Ceremony for Rites of Passage. Throughout the day, she will share insights on the nervous system, offering education on how to create the internal safety needed to open and receive.

Guided by the values of agency and choice, Angela supports you in tuning into your body’s subtle language, allowing your internal cues to lead the way toward your own nourishment.
